A & H Ventures ("AHV", "we", "us") is the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through this website. We collect only what we need, use it only for the purpose stated, and do not sell or share it with third parties for commercial purposes.
What we collect and why
How we use your data
We process personal data for two purposes only: (a) to fulfil the specific service you requested, and (b) where you have given explicit consent, to send you updates about AHV's work. We do not profile visitors, run remarketing campaigns, or share data with advertising networks.
Who has access
Your data is processed by AHV and by its authorised Data Processors. For standard document downloads and general enquiries, the only processor is Resend, Inc. (email delivery). For the ReFound Assessment, three processors are involved: Anthropic, Inc. (AI processing of your responses via the Claude API), Resend, Inc. (email delivery of your ReFound Card), and HubSpot, Inc. (secure CRM storage of your assessment record). None of these processors use your data for their own commercial purposes. Access within AHV is restricted to Harshwardhansingh Thakur.

ReFound (the M-5 Ecosystem Pathway Designer) is a structured reflection tool that asks you to share detailed information about a past business experience, including the circumstances of a business that ended, your emotional relationship with that experience, your current identity, and your forward orientation. The responses you provide are sensitive personal data under Indian law and under internationally recognised psychological assessment standards. This notice sets out how that data is collected, processed, stored, and protected.
What you share and why it is sensitive
Your responses to the 24 ReFound questions may include: a narrative of a business failure; your emotional state at the time and now; your social and family support; your sense of identity; and your current thinking about the future. This level of disclosure is necessary for the tool to produce a meaningful result. Because it touches on personal history, emotional experience, and psychological state, AHV treats it as sensitive data and applies a higher standard of care than to standard personal data.
How your data is processed
The Practitioner Brief
Every ReFound assessment generates a Practitioner Brief — an internal AHV document that provides a detailed psychological synthesis of your responses, including scored dimensions, key themes from your answers, suggested opening points for an advisory conversation, and psychological watch points. This Brief is used by AHV advisors to prepare for any follow-up conversation with you. Its existence and purpose is disclosed in the consent notice you accept before beginning the assessment. The Practitioner Brief is sent to contact@a-h-ventures.com and is not shared outside AHV without your written permission.
What ReFound is and is not
ReFound is: a structured reflection tool, a pattern-identification instrument, and a pathway prescription service. It is a starting point for an advisory conversation.
ReFound is not: therapy, counselling, a clinical psychological assessment, a mental health diagnostic tool, or a substitute for professional mental health support. It is not administered by licensed clinicians. If you are in distress and need immediate support, please contact iCall (9152987821) or the Vandrevala Foundation helpline (1860-2662-345, available 24/7).
Consent and your rights
Your responses are processed only with your explicit prior consent, given via the consent mechanism on the ReFound assessment page. You may withdraw consent at any time. Upon withdrawal, AHV will delete your HubSpot record, request deletion of your Resend delivery records, and archive your Practitioner Brief in a restricted folder. Anthropic's API processing cannot be retroactively erased, but all records within AHV's control will be deleted. You have the right to access, correct, or erase your data, and to raise a grievance, using the contact details in the Privacy Policy above. Responses are retained for three years from the date of your assessment. Consent records are retained for six years.
Research use
If you ticked the optional research consent checkbox when completing the assessment, anonymised and de-identified insights from your responses may be used in academic research into entrepreneurial recovery pathways. No personally identifiable information will appear in any publication. If you did not tick that box, your data will not be used for research under any circumstances.
Under-18 exclusion
ReFound is designed for adults who have operated a business. AHV does not knowingly collect data from persons under the age of 18. If you are under 18, please do not complete this assessment. If AHV becomes aware that data has been collected from a person under 18, that data will be erased immediately.
The ERA (Entrepreneur Readiness Assessment) is a structured self-evaluation tool for individuals exploring business acquisition through the ETA (Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition) pathway. It asks you to assess yourself across six readiness dimensions: Financial Readiness, Operational Capability, Leadership & Management, Deal Navigation, Risk Tolerance, and Strategic Vision. Your responses are used to generate an indicative readiness score and a personalised written narrative.
What you share
You provide your name, email address, sector interest, and self-rated scores across six dimensions (via slider inputs, scored 0–10 each), along with optional written reflections for each dimension. This data is treated as personal data under the DPDP Act, 2023.
How your data is processed
Three-layer scoring
The ERA produces three score layers: (1) your Self-Score, which you set using the sliders; (2) an AI Score, generated independently by Claude based on your written responses and the same rubric; and (3) an AHV Practitioner Score, which may be added by an AHV advisor following a conversation with you. The gap between your Self-Score and the AI Score is a diagnostic input, not a judgment. All three layers are stored in your HubSpot record.
What the ERA is and is not
The ERA is: an indicative readiness diagnostic, a conversation-starter, and a structured self-reflection tool for prospective ETA acquirers.
The ERA is not: a definitive assessment of your suitability for ETA, professional financial or investment advice, or a guarantee of any outcome. Results are indicative only. You should seek independent professional advice before making any acquisition decision.
Consent and your rights
Before starting the ERA, you must acknowledge a disclaimer confirming that you understand the results are indicative only. Your data is retained for three years from the date of your assessment. You have the right to access, correct, or erase your data by writing to contact@a-h-ventures.com.
Under-18 exclusion
The ERA is designed for adults. AHV does not knowingly collect data from persons under 18. If you are under 18, please do not complete this assessment.
The BRS (Business Readiness Score) is a dual-track diagnostic for business owners and sellers. Track A — Business Health — evaluates five dimensions of the business itself: Financial Condition, Operational Maturity, Market Position, Management Depth, and Documentation. Track B — Owner Readiness — evaluates five dimensions of the owner's personal readiness: Emotional Readiness, Clarity of Purpose, Life After Business, Deal Literacy, and Stakeholder Alignment. Together, they produce a combined BRS score of 0–100.
What you share
You provide your name, email address, and sector. Across 10 dimensions you provide: a self-rated score (slider, 0–10), a qualitative radio-button choice describing your current position, and an optional written reflection. These responses are personal data. Written reflections describing your business operations or personal circumstances may constitute commercially sensitive or moderately sensitive personal data.
How your data is processed
Three-layer scoring
Like the ERA, the BRS produces Self-Scores (your slider inputs), AI Scores (generated by Claude independently), and an AHV Practitioner Score (added by an AHV advisor where applicable). The gap between your self-perception and the AI's independent reading of your written responses is the primary diagnostic input into any advisory conversation.
What the BRS is and is not
The BRS is: a structured business and owner readiness diagnostic, a deal-preparation tool, and a starting point for an AHV business succession advisory conversation.
The BRS is not: a business valuation, a sale guarantee, legal or financial advice, or a definitive measure of business quality. Results are indicative only.
Consent and your rights
Your data is retained for three years from the date of your assessment. Progress is saved to your browser's local storage to allow you to resume the assessment; this data remains on your device and is not transmitted until you submit. You have the right to access, correct, or erase your data by writing to contact@a-h-ventures.com.
The M-3 Match Engine is a buyer profiling tool for entrepreneurs exploring acquisition. It asks seven questions covering your capital range, industry background, operating style, geographic range, target business profile, acquisition timeline, and non-negotiable criteria (must-haves and must-avoids). It uses your answers to generate a buyer archetype, a target acquisition criteria profile, and a set of green and red flags.
What you share
You provide your name and email address, and answer seven structured questions. The non-negotiable criteria fields are free-text inputs where you may choose to share commercially sensitive information (such as specific business types you will not acquire, or personal deal constraints). This is treated as personal data.
How your data is processed
What the Match Engine is and is not
The Match Engine is: a buyer profiling and search-focus tool that helps you define what kind of business you are actually looking for.
The Match Engine is not: a deal-sourcing service, a guarantee of finding a suitable business, or professional investment advice. Archetypes and criteria are generated by AI based on your inputs and are indicative only.
Consent and your rights
Your data is retained for three years from the date of your assessment. You have the right to access, correct, or erase your data by writing to contact@a-h-ventures.com.
The M-4 Seller Profile is a seller motivation and deal-fit diagnostic for business owners considering a sale. It asks six questions covering your primary motivation for selling, your timeline urgency, your price-versus-certainty preference, your desired level of post-sale involvement, your preferred buyer type, and the things that must be protected through the sale (legacy, team, customers, and so on). It uses your answers to generate a seller archetype, a deal structure fit assessment, and a set of watch-outs.
What you share
You provide your name and email address, and answer six structured questions. The "what must be protected" fields are free-text inputs where you may share information about your business's key relationships, legacy concerns, or personal values. These responses may constitute moderately sensitive personal or commercial data.
How your data is processed
What the Seller Profile is and is not
The Seller Profile is: a motivation and deal-fit diagnostic that helps clarify what kind of sale and buyer would genuinely work for you — before you enter a process.
The Seller Profile is not: a valuation, a mandate, legal or financial advice, or a guarantee of any outcome. Results are indicative only.
Consent and your rights
Your data is retained for three years from the date of your assessment. You have the right to access, correct, or erase your data by writing to contact@a-h-ventures.com.
The Seller & Exit Thinking Tool is a five-module reflection instrument for business owners who are exploring, considering, or actively planning a business exit. The modules cover: your business (context and structure), your story (why you are considering a sale), what you need from the transaction (financial and non-financial priorities), your business health, and your horizon (what a good outcome looks like). The tool is non-linear; you may complete modules in any order and return to them at any point.
What you share and how it is stored
All responses you enter — including free-text fields describing your motivations, priorities, and aspirations — are stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage. No data is transmitted to AHV's servers, HubSpot, or any third party until you explicitly submit the tool by requesting your Practitioner Score. Your name and email address are optional; if you do not provide them, no personally identifiable information is captured at all.
If you choose to request a scored report, your responses are then sent to AHV's secure scoring service (a Cloudflare Worker), which calls Claude (Anthropic) to generate your scores and snapshot. At that point, the processing described below applies.
IPIP Big Five Personality Assessment
The tool includes an optional ten-item personality assessment based on the International Personality Item Pool (IPIP), developed by Lewis R. Goldberg at the Oregon Research Institute. The IPIP is explicitly placed in the public domain and carries no commercial licensing restriction. It measures five broad personality dimensions (Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, Emotional Stability) and is used solely to provide you with contextual self-awareness — specifically, how your personality profile may interact with the exit process. IPIP scores are not transmitted externally unless you request a scored report; if transmitted, they are used only within that single scoring request and are not stored separately in AHV's CRM.
How your data is processed (upon score submission)
Identity dimension — a specific note
The tool assesses business owner identity attachment — how strongly your sense of self is bound to the business. A high identity-attachment score does not indicate a problem or disqualify you from any process. It signals that the transition may benefit from additional time, support, and structured preparation. This information is used to calibrate AHV's advisory approach, not to judge or categorise you.
Multi-owner situations
If your business has more than one owner, the Seller & Exit Thinking Tool captures only your individual perspective. Co-owner responses are not combined or cross-referenced. AHV will not share one co-owner's responses with another co-owner. The question of how diverging co-owner views are managed is a matter for AHV's advisory process, not this tool.
What this tool is and is not
This tool is: a structured reflection and signal-capture instrument designed to help you clarify your thinking about a potential exit — and to help AHV prepare a better first conversation with you.
This tool is not: a valuation, a business sale mandate, legal or financial advice, a psychological clinical assessment, or a guarantee of any outcome. No advisory relationship is created by completing it. Results are reflective and indicative only.
Consent and your rights
By submitting the tool, you consent to your responses being processed as described above. Your data is retained for three years from the date of submission. You have the right to access, correct, or erase your data by writing to contact@a-h-ventures.com. As all data is stored in your browser's localStorage prior to submission, you may also clear it at any time by clearing your browser data — no request to AHV is needed.

AHV will investigate and respond within 2 business days. Where a genuine delivery failure is established, AHV will re-deliver the report or, at its discretion, issue a full refund.
Refunds are not available on the grounds that you are dissatisfied with your assessment results or with the scoring methodology. The ERA is an indicative diagnostic, not a guaranteed outcome, and this is clearly stated on the assessment page.
